Melanotan II (MT-II) is a synthetic cyclic melanocortin peptide analog derived from α-MSH pharmacology. It is commonly represented as Ac-Nle-c[Asp-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys]-NH2 and acts as a relatively nonselective melanocortin-receptor agonist.
